COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus navy deconstructed suit from the 2002 Autumn/Winter collection. The jacket features a notched lapel, optional mandarin collar, central button fastening, two waist level pockets, chest height pocket, full length sleeves, double sided buttons and reversible design. The pants feature zip fastening, belt loops, two waist level pockets, two back pockets, a panel down the side of the right leg and a panel down the centre of the left leg using printed fabric on the reversed side. The suit features navy wool fabric, contrasting amber coloured buttons, deconstructed design, raw edges and printed fabric featuring Japanese symbols.

Designer — Rei Kawakubo, founder and creative director of COMME des GARÇONS, is arguably the most influential designer of all time. A designer with no formal training who marches to the beat of her own drum. Celebrated as creator of the deconstructed and uniform black looks in the early 80′s now synonymous with high end fashion. Never wanting to remain stagnant, she added to her colour palette and has been the originator of many a trend, always staying ahead of her contemporaries. Impossible to sum up the influence Kawakubo has had on fashion today in a single paragraph!
