Plaid Suit With Back Patch
COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus yellow plaid suit from the 2002 Spring/Summer Collection. The jacket features a notched lapel, optional mandarin collar, central button fastening, full length sleeves, two waist level pockets, one chest height pocket, two inside pockets and a cutout on the back with a brown glen plaid patch sewn in its place. The pants feature a front zip fastener, two buttons on the waist with an elastic adjuster to change waist width, three quarter length, two waist level pockets and two back pockets. The suit is made from a course yellow and brown plaid fabric.

Designer — Rei Kawakubo, founder and creative director of COMME des GARÇONS, is arguably the most influential designer of all time. A designer with no formal training who marches to the beat of her own drum. Celebrated as creator of the deconstructed and uniform black looks in the early 80′s now synonymous with high end fashion. Never wanting to remain stagnant, she added to her colour palette and has been the originator of many a trend, always staying ahead of her contemporaries. Impossible to sum up the influence Kawakubo has had on fashion today in a single paragraph!
