Junya Watanabe MAN x Levis worker’s suit from the 2002 Spring/Summer collection. The jacket features a classic collar, central button fastening, two chest height pockets, full length sleeves and cropped length. The pants feature belt loops, zip fastener, two waist level pockets, two back pockets and a wide leg design. The suit is made from a thick milled cotton with a brown pinstripe design.

Designer — Junya Watanabe is acknowledged as a master of his craft in Japan, as well as by many aboard. Originally a protege of Rei Kawakubo, he began working at the COMME des GARÇONS fashion house as soon as he graduated from the Bunka Fashion Institute in 1984 and in 1993 was granted his own ‘Junya Watanabe’ women’s line under the COMME des GARÇONS label. Renowned for his intricate designs, he has been called ‘the greatest technical master working in contemporary fashion’. Since 2002 he has also run his highly acclaimed MAN menswear line which is the essence of modern street cool.
